After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Pittsburg State University, Dr. Christopher Polk completed his dental degree at the University of Oklahoma in 1994. He started working at Cambridge Family Dentistry in 2013 and is now the owner of the practice, specializing in all aspects of dentistry and also offering orthodontics. He regularly attends Continuing Education (CE) courses in implantology.

Dr. Polk is passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives, from boosting the confidence of a teenager through a new smile to helping a senior citizen with new dentures that will provide not only health benefits but also intangible benefits like the enjoyment of eating or feeling better about themselves.

Dr. Polk enjoys spending time playing board games with his family and playing with their Golden Doodle. He is an amateur Coca Cola collector, has his pilot license and has a racing license through the Sports Car Club of America.

Dr. Kelly Johnson attended Wichita State University for her undergraduate before earning her dental degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2012. She is active in furthering her patients’ care with Continuing Education (CE) courses in a variety of subjects, from cosmetic dentistry to dental implants.

Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association and Wichita District Dental Society. She helps patients create and maintain beautiful, healthy teeth by addressing their dental phobias and ensuring they have a good experience and receive the treatment they need. To Dr. Johnson, there is nothing better than giving a patient the confidence to smile again, and she feels so blessed to work in a wonderful office that does this every day.

Dr. Johnson and her husband, Nathan, have three children. She spends most of her time with her family, and they love working on renovations around their home.

Dr. Adam Smith joined Cambridge Family Dentistry in 2022 after completing his residency at the Oklahoma City VA Hospital. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Smith enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including implant dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and aesthetic dentistry. He cares about ensuring the best treatment possible for all of our patients’ dental needs. Outside of work, Dr. Smith is a member of the American Dental Association and, in his free time, enjoys cooking, golfing, and music.

Dr. Reem Hussein joined Cambridge Family Dentistry in 2022 after graduating from the University of Missouri – Kansas City International Trained Dentists Program. She enjoys working in an office well-known for their life-changing patient experiences, which initially prompted her to join the Cambridge Family Dentistry Family.

Outside of work, Dr. Hussein volunteers regularly, partnering with organizations like the City Life Church Dental Outreach, Kansas Mission of Mercy, Team Smile Children’s Screenings, A Day of Free Healthcare at Via Christi Medical Mission, Special Olympics Dental Screenings at Northwest High School, Give Kids a Smile, and JayDoc Free Dental Care Clinic. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and exploring new places, and trying new foods.

Dr. Ryan Chandler attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University and East Central University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2017. He belongs to the American Dental Education Association and is also a general dentist at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He has extra training in surgical and denture procedures with the VA.

After joining Cambridge in July of 2023, Dr. Chandler said that he has met many different patients who have all been courteous and kind. “I love our staff. Everyone is friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Our patient population is excellent.”

Dr. Chandler is married and has three children. He enjoys traveling with family, duck hunting, spending time at the lake, and his hobbies include anything his children are doing. His frequent vacations to Disney are a highlight of his year because he says the magic of Disney never gets old!
