Swish the solution in your mouth for 30 seconds and spit out the remaining solution.

Your dentist can take molds of your teeth to make a custom mouthguard that can be worn at night to prevent damage caused by nighttime grinding and additional pressure. If your problem is more severe or continues to persist, you may require dental work to change the position of your teeth.

    There are several home remedies and lifestyle changes you can make to treat tooth sensitivity and alleviate pain; however, the most beneficial thing you can do for your oral health is to schedule routine checkups with your dentist. Many times, tooth sensitivity may be a side effect of diseased or receding gums and may signify a more significant health problem, so attending routine appointments will ensure that you are taking care of your teeth and nurturing a bright and healthy smile!
